Michael J. Roux, 49, was arrested around 4:45 a.m. Friday, March 22, during a raid at his Larch Street home by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force, with assistance from the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Unit, and the Beacon Police Department, said Frank Tasciotti, assistant coordinator of the Dutchess County Drug Task Force.

The search was based on a two-month investigation into cocaine sales from that location and the surrounding area, Tasciotti said.

During the search, officers seized a quantity of cocaine, currency, packaging materials and scales, he added.

Roux was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. He is being held at the Dutchess County Jail on $75,000 bond.

Additional arrests are pending, Tasciotti said.

Anyone who wishes to report any illegal narcotics activity is urged to call the Dutchess County Drug Task Force at 845-463-6040. All calls will remain anonymous.
